Our large surface mounted electrical meter box is fully UK approved. This box can be used with single phase domestic electricity meters. This meter box comes supplied with hinges, lock and key and timber backplate.
This electric meter box mounts directly onto the surface of the wall behind your electric meter – no need for a recessed cavity into the wall. It is designed in the same cosmetic style as the common recessed gas and electric meter boxes to ensure that they match the rest of your installation and blend seamlessly into the exterior of your property. It is also designed to be bigger than the MK2 Surface Mounted Electric Meter Box to house a wider range of meters while matching the height and width dimensions of the common recessed meter boxes.
